Where to Eat in Sitka
Five Local Favorites I Recommend Again and Again

The five restaurants I recommend most often to cruise guests visiting Sitka, Alaska.
Every cruise season, someone asks me this question.
"Emily…where should we eat?"
It's one of my favorite questions because Sitka has an incredible food scene for a town our size.
Fresh seafood is part of everyday life here, and many of our best meals come from small family-owned restaurants and food trucks rather than large chain restaurants.
These aren't necessarily the fanciest places in town.
They're the places I recommend most often because they consistently serve great food, reflect Sitka's personality, and leave visitors talking about their meal long after they've sailed away.
If you only have one meal in Sitka, these are the places I'd tell my own friends and family to visit.
A quick note: These are my personal recommendations based on the places I most often suggest to friends, family, and guests visiting Sitka. Food is personal, and there are many other wonderful restaurants in town—but these are the five I return to again and again.
