Meet Your Guide

Hi, I'm Emily, founder of Haunted Sitka. I have a passion for uncovering the fascinating people, places, and true stories that make Sitka unlike anywhere else in Alaska. After years of researching local history and leading thousands of visitors through the town's historic streets, I've learned that some of the best stories are shared over a drink.

On the Haunted Pub Crawl, I'll introduce you to three of Sitka's most historic local bars while sharing tales of colorful pioneers, infamous crimes, unexplained encounters, and the legends that still echo through Alaska's former Russian capital. My goal is simple—to make you laugh, keep you curious, and help you experience Sitka in a way most visitors never do.

I can't wait to raise a glass with you and welcome you to one of my favorite afternoons in Sitka.

Why Guests Love this Tour

Alicia H.

"Fantastic tour! If you're only in town for the day, this is a must. The first stop is a private location so it's not busy; but very interesting! Lots of interesting stops along the way. The kind doctor is knowledgeable and will even explain other non-haunted sites that peak your interest. The walk isn't bad, wear what you think are comfortable shoes. The fun game keeps you engaged and paying attention to the details around you. Small group vibes keep it fun and your guide genuinely enjoys story telling. Don't want to spoil it for you…... But it's a GREAT TIME!!!"

Matthew T.
